Vivelle dot is an estrogen therapy that is applied directly to the abdomen through a small translucent patch. From the skin, it enters your blood system and is absorved by the body. It can treat moderate to severe menopause symptoms.

Ingredients:
1) a translucent polyolefin film (2) an adhesive formulation containing estradiol, acrylic adhesive, silicone adhesive, oleyl alcohol, NF, povidone, USP and dipropylene glycol, The active component of the system is estradiol. The remaining components of the system are pharmacologically inactive.

Directions:
Take the covering from the pad and attach on the abdomen. Start at the lowest dose and talk to your doctor about how well that dose is working for you.
