Menopause, The First Five Pain Symptoms

1. Breast Tenderness
Pain or soreness on the breasts usually come with menstrual periods, but can also be triggered by menopause. This is considered to be quite common at menopause stage, but is not usually severe, and does not persist until two months.

2. Migraines and Headaches
Migraines and headaches can also be induced by menopause. When the estrogen production of your body drops, the hormone change sometimes causes headaches that grow worse and worse. The most severe headaches that are accompanied by confusion or high fever should not be taken lightly, and may require medical attention.

3. Sore Joints, Muscles, and Tendons
The fluctuating hormone levels cause many pains in the body. It can also cause effects on the immune system, and that, in turn, causes pains in the muscles and joints. Women who suffer from this are advised to live a healthier life, with plenty of rest, nutritional and organic foods, and avoiding toxins and stimulants.

4. Burning Tongue, Burning Roof of Mouth, Bas Taste in Mouth, Change in Breath Odor
The Burning mouth syndrome is a painful and troubling condition that causes a burning pain on the tongue or lips without any signs of irritation. Many women who are undergoing menopause suffer from this state, but generally begins after the age of 60.

5. Electric Shock sensations
The nerves are also very much affected by fluctuating hormones. When this is the case, a strange electric sensation, similar to a snapping rubber band is felt on this skin of the head. At times, it is also a precursor to a hot flash, so best prepare.
